Featured in this photo is the sometimes elusive Periculosa Mulier better known as the Adventurous Woman. This particular specimen has developed and refined the photography skillset. As such she has been recording moments and memories for family, friends and many others for decades. I spotted this one in the Keawa'ula Section of Ka'ena point state park on Oahu, HI. She was photographing the Laysan Albatross. Yes, the large sea going bird was beautiful, but there is something special about watching someone get to explore their passions. She was sweaty and exhausted after the hike but the smiles told me everything.

In Tanya's perspective, a single snapshot has the remarkable power to resurrect the entirety of an experience—an image from a birthday celebration eight years ago or the vivid memory of a shared sunset can transport you back, that allows the reliving of those beautiful moments. It's a profound act of preservation, a testament to the timelessness of a well-captured photograph.

Exploring various subjects and genres in photography, Tanya finds appreciation in each, acknowledging that, much like life itself, some aspects are more challenging than others. Yet, it is precisely these challenges that contribute to life's inherent worth and meaning. In the diverse canvas' of photography, she discovers not only a creative outlet but a shared journey of personal, professional, and social growth—an eloquent celebration of life's complexities, mirrored through the lens of her passion.
